The Turkish Embassy in Canberra congratulates the Australian Turkish Advocacy-Alliance (ATA-A) for successfully organising meetings in Melbourne, Sidney and Canberra with Professor Justin McCarthy, a renowned historian who in his three speeches set the record straight on baseless Armenian claims as regards the events in 1915.

On 21 November 2013, Professor McCarthy attended a meeting, organized by Senator Mehmet Tillem and Maria Vamvakinou MP, at the Federal Parliament in Canberra with the participation of Senators, MPs and staffers and gave a revealing power point presentation which refuted the baseless claims advanced by Armenian propagandists in Australia and elsewhere.

The Embassy would particularly like to recognize the contributions of ATA-A National Executive DirectorMr. Ertunç Özen and National Deputy Executive DirectorMr. Adem Genç for the impressive organisation of all three events.
