We have learned with great sorrow that journalist Kenji Goto, the second Japanese hostage, was also killed by DEASH terrorist organization following the execution of other Japanese citizen Haruna Yukawa.

We condemn this barbaric terrorist act with hatred and extend our condolences to the family of Kenji Goto, to the Japanese Government as well as to the friendly Japanese people.

Terrorism is a crime against humanity. Turkey will continue to act in complete solidarity with the international community in fighting against terrorism, as it has been the case until now.
