We strongly condemn the recent attacks by DEASH in villages that are predominantly populated by Syriacs and the abduction of many of them, including the elderly, women and children. We request the immediate and unconditional release of the hostages.

This grave incident is yet another indication of the never-ending misery of the oppressed people of Syria, who are indiscriminately targeted by the terrorism of DEASH and the Syrian regime.

Turkey will continue its support to all segments of the Syrian people with determination in a non-discriminatory way .
