We strongly condemn and denounce the terrorist attack with a bomb-laden vehicle which was perpetrated yesterday (1 June) in Somalia against a hotel where senior officials, members of the Parliament and diplomats also accommodated, and resulted in the death of more than 10 persons and injury of many others according to initial reports.

We wish God's mercy on those who lost their lives, convey our condolences to their families and the brotherly people of Somalia and wish a speedy recovery to the wounded.

It is obvious that this attack aims at intimating the efforts to maintain peace, stability and development in Somalia.

Turkey will continue to give all kinds of support decisively to the friendly and brotherly people of Somalia to attain peace and stability.
