H.E. Jean Asselborn, Minister of Foreign and European Affairs of the Grand Duchy of Luxembourg, will pay an official visit to Turkey on 14-15 January 2019 to meet with H.E. Mevlüt Çavuşoğlu, Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Turkey, as well as to visit various projects in Gaziantep and Kilis for Syrians under temporary protection in Turkey, and to hold talks with the local authorities.

During the meetings between the two Foreign Ministers, bilateral relations between Turkey and Luxembourg, as well as issues regarding the EU and Turkey’s EU accession process, and current regional and international issues will be discussed.
